Ringneck babies from 20/1/2011

1 month old

Reason for relocation of the parent bird are due to the fact that 2 juvenile ringneck parakeets were lost. Not sure if it the carelessness of individuals on not closing the cage door or someone stole it. So to prevent the same problem, the birds are relocated nearer to the house.

Hope that this chick will grow till weaned coz I'm still learning on hand feeding the chick. And hope my inexperience and busyness will not cause the young bird to lose its life. Just trying my best to look after it and hope it will survive till weaned. If anyone have recommendation on how to take proper of the young birds then I'll be pleased to seek your advice on the matter.

So i will reconsider on putting the birds up for sale as too much patience and time are spent on the bird. So perhaps if it survive it will become one of my favourite. Sorry if i have disappointed those who wish to purchase the bird. And i will considering selling the ringneck again after i manage to recover back my 2 lost birds to make sure i have enough stock for future breeding.

In reply to oitss question on how's the ring neck hatching. Unfortunately only one out of the two hatchling that i posted on the 20/1/2011 survive so far. Due to relocation of the birds closer to my house and due to many visitors visiting to my place. One of the chick did not survive and one of the chick was rejected. So i need to hand feed the chick and so far this is the progress.
